To friends around the world who love ceramic and pottery

My name is Urujyu. I am a Lacquer tree.
I would like to share with you the technique of kintsugi to repair your piece of ceramic.
Although dust returns to dust someday, kintsugi may be the answer to your wish of
having your beloved ceramic around for a bit longer.


漆と暮らす／工芸の生まれる暮らし
「漆の文化を未来に繋げたい」その思いから、urujyuは2015年に創業しました。そして2020年、自然豊かな京都府美山町へ移り住み、漆の木を植え始めました。１０数年後の将来、金継ぎキットを通じて、皆さんにも国産の漆をお届けしたいと思います。

Life with Lacquer / Life where crafts are born
urujyu was founded in 2015 with the desire to "pass on the culture of lacquer to the future. In 2020, we moved to Miyama-cho, Kyoto Prefecture, where we began planting lacquer trees and hope to bring domestically produced lacquer to the world through our kintsugi kits in the next 10 years or so.
